AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers various pathways for students to receive unparalleled performing arts education taught by world-class industry professionals, including Professional Conservatory Certificates as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Occupational Studies, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts). AMDA Los Angeles is seeking an experienced individual for the role of Interim Coordinator of The BFA in Performing Arts, Content Creation Program, with core disciplines of Acting, Dance and Music Theatre in preparation and throughout the summer 2025 semester (end date October 10, 2025). The Content Creation Coordinator will support the administrative tasks and curriculum while supporting faculty and students. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the Content Creation program’s curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and prepares students for successful careers as performers, and multi-hyphenate artists and creators.
  • Mentor, and support a diverse and talented faculty.
  • Curate and manage curricular opportunities for students.
  • Manage the administrative functions of the Content Creation program, including scheduling, and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Uphold institutional and division policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with AMDA's academic leadership and student support teams regularly.
  • Coordinate the use of AMDA's LMS, Canvas, as a dynamic teaching and learning tool across Content Creation courses.
  • Participate in orientation overviews, observations, demos and end of semester screenings for all programming.
  • Regularly report to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Executive Team.
  • Monitor Faculty assignments.
  • Monitor Faculty Performance Evaluations.
 Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree required, terminal degree preferred.
  • 5 years relevant industry professional experience required, 7+ years preferred.
  • 5 years of teaching experience required, 7+ years of higher education teaching experience preferred.
  • 4 years academic administration experience required, 6+ years of administration experience, including at a senior level preferred.
 Position Information:
  • This is a part-time position, working 15 hours per week. Schedule based on department needs.
  • The pay rate for this position is $35.00/hour.
  • This position has an end date of October 10, 2025.
  • This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
  • This is a fully in-person Position.
