Job Description

In this role your primary responsibility will be to support the Entertainment Operations department and ensure that the Universal Studios Hollywood vision, mission & values, and Guest Service Philosophy & Standards are understood and supported across the department. 

2. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a department culture that promotes a professional, collaborative, inspiring, fun and teamwork-driven work setting for all employees.
  • Ensure assigned projects and duties have ongoing updates and issues communicated. 
  • Assist with the creation, implementation and management of an on-going Action Plan to improve and maintain employee engagement and satisfaction (TSAT).
  • Have knowledge of all show quality across all entertainment products and communicate any concerns or feedback to the appropriate stakeholder(s), including Show Manager and Show Quality Team.
  • Ensure the operational efficiency and effectiveness of administration for the department.  Resolve any issues as they arise, and seek opportunities to improve process and procedures collaborating with Manager, department stakeholders, employees, etc. as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of an annually updated and accurate department SOP/GOP available to all employees.   
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training, and employee involvement activities.  Includes completion of I&I, housekeeping and/or other safety follow-up documentation as required for department.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with other park department leaders and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Administrative duties:

  • Execute financial processes (purchase orders, invoice payment processing, payment status and tracking, etc.) on behalf of Entertainment Operations management team and follow up to address any issues and ensure timely payment.
  • Manage AVETA process and new vendor set up in accordance with Company standards and guidelines.
  • Generate, track and maintain Entertainment Operations Project List for department.
  • Assist with creation, updating and organization of departmental documents (characters/show grids, availability tracking form, SOPs, manuals, etc.)
  • Coordinate and/or assist with communication of information to appropriate recipient (s) and or distribution list (i.e. call cast and/or support crew rosters to communicate schedule changes, updates or other information).
  • Prepare reports and presentations as requested for review by Management.
  • Maintain and oversee an accurate account for the use of Courier Services (24/7).
  • Assist with the maintenance and care of departmental printing/copying devices and request repairs as needed.
  • Oversee the stocking of supplies for Entertainment Office administration.
  • Maintain up to date contact information for departmental salar
