Senior Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and technically proficient Senior Electrical Estimator with expertise in the Baltimore/Washington commercial construction market. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of estimating experience across a variety of commercial projects, including schools, hospitals, and federal work.

Requirements

• Plan, coordinate, and direct all estimating functions, including project budgets, cost tracking, and departmental standards.
• Manage and review bid requests, proposals, and estimate submissions.
• Develop and maintain a structured bid calendar, ensuring accurate and timely estimate completion.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to estimators and project teams.
• Attend job walks, report on discrepancies in drawings and bid requirements.
• Prepare bid summaries and review estimates with project managers and leadership.
• Analyze estimate results against completed project data.
• Maintain an organized estimating database and tracking system.
• Develop and implement training programs for estimating best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Field experience as an electrician or a degree in Construction Management is preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical estimating software and ability to conceptually estimate projects.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical construction, National Electrical Code, and related systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and related digital tools.
