Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join the Analytics Platform team.
This role is critical in supporting the transition from ETL-based Data Warehousing to Netezza and requires deep expertise in SQL Queries, Unix Shell Scripting, Stored Procedures, and ELT Development in RDBMS.

Responsibilities:

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support ELT processes in relational databases (RDBMS).
Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers for high-performance data processing.
Create and manage shell scripts in Unix/Linux environments to automate data processing and job scheduling.
Work with large-scale data pipelines, transformations, and batch data processing.
Utilize Netezza SQL (nzsql) for data manipulation and performance tuning (preferred).
Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and bulk data loading for efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of technical design and coding experience in the IT industry.
Expertise in advanced SQL for ELT development and relational database management (RDBMS).
Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and data movement.
Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, ELT processes, and batch processing of large datasets.
Experience building and optimizing stored procedures for high-volume data processing.
Familiarity with Netezza SQL (nzsql) for query execution and optimization (preferred).

A Senior Developer as an Oracle PL/SQL or SQL developer with handling the below stuff.
Advanced SQL & Data Warehousing Expertise

Core Skills:

Writing complex SQL queries for ELT/ETL pipelines in Netezza (preferred) or similar RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle).
Designing optimized data models (fact/dimension tables) for analytics.
Handling high-volume batch jobs (e.g., nightly claims processing).
