The Retail Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of products within the YETI supply chain. This includes overseeing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The Retail Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in streamlining operations, reducing costs, and maximizing customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 
 

• Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to retail locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. 
• Oversee the warehousing and distribution of products, ensuring proper handling, storage, and inventory control. 
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as purchasing, sales, and inventory, to forecast demand and coordinate supply chain activities accordingly. 
• Monitor and optimize transportation routes and shipping methods to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. 
• Manage relationships with freight carriers and logistics service providers to negotiate favorable rates and ensure compliance with service level agreements. 
• Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. 
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and resolving any issues that may arise. 
• Prepare and analyze reports on key logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail logistics to continuously improve processes and strategies. 

Qualifications and Attributes: 
 

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field. 
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management 
• Proven experience in retail logistics, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment. 
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and inventory management. 
• Proficient in using logistics management software and systems. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic retail environment. 
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. 
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in transportation and logistics.
