Senior Python Software Engineer (DevTools)

Rho offers corporate cards, banking, treasury, expense management, AP, accounting automation, and more in one integrated platform backed by award-winning support.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Our team is looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to join our Platform team remotely in Poland or on-side in Belgrade to help build &amp; scale Rho’s all-in-one finance platform.</p> <p>If you are eager and interested to learn, here is the tech stack that you will be working with:</p> <ul> <li>Python and Go</li> <li>GraphQL</li> <li>PostgreSQL</li> <li>Docker</li> <li>Kubernetes</li> <li>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>Experience building web apps and/or services to support a great product</li> <li>Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools</li> <li>Experience working in complex stakeholder &amp; regulated environments involving many partners and services</li> <li>Proficiency in Python and SQL</li> <li>Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures including trade-offs made to either support higher load or lower latency within an application</li> <li>Experience in a start-up or enterprise within a highly technical market segment, such as AI, security, finance and blockchain, or infrastructure</li> </ul> <p>Nice to have:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Go/JS/Ruby/PHP or similar technologies</li> <li>Proficiency building &amp; deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes</li> <li>Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms</li> <li>Experience working in a cloud computing platform like GCP or AWS</li> <li>Experience working in finance including an understanding of how different payment networks work, e.g. ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT</li> <li>Knowledge of accounting or financial software</li> <li>Experience mentoring junior engineers</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <p><span>In return we’re prepared to offer a competitive package.
