What you'll do:

The Retail Lending Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to new and existing sales staff in the Retail Lending division. This role involves creating comprehensive training materials, conducting workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure the sales team is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

What we are looking for:

•Facilitate and deliver engaging and effective classroom and virtual training for new hire employees, continuing education, career development and ad-hoc training classes

•Collaborate, develop, and design learning paths and provide feedback back to line of business

•Conduct needs assessments and assist with recommendations as to appropriate corrective action or gap-related solutions

•Meet with manager on a regular basis to review feedback and promote issue remediation and quality improvement

•Keep abreast of all company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulatory changes

•Work on special projects as needed

What you need to have:

•2+ years training experience

•3+ years mortgage sales experience

•Bachelor's Degree preferred

•Background in corporate training in Sales and/or Processing of residential mortgage loans

•Must be a self-starter and self-motivated to meet job expectations and goals

•Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to use good judgment

•Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking, paperless environment and to manage multiple deadlines

•Clear and effective communication skills

•Proficient with Microsoft Office

•Robust mortgage industry experience is highly desirable

•Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending

•Ability to identify and solve problems with strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity

•Experience with Encompass Lending Platform

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $76,405.00 - $89,887.50 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
