Job Description
The Contracts Associate is primarily responsible for supporting client and vendor contract activity and ensuring all contracts are properly routed through the contract management system. The Contracts Associate will work with the business units to understand business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Addresses contract inquiries in a timely manner
- Conducts proper review of uploaded contracts
- Assists with the timely progression of contract reviews
- Facilitates the overall contracting process, communicates turnaround times and effectively enforces them, escalating early in case of difficulties
- Immediately communicates any issues that cannot be addressed by Contract Management or follows up with the appropriate business unit(s), as necessary
- Attends COMPLETE Commercialization meetings for contract requests
- Experience with DocuSign CLM a plus
- Actively contribute in CLM process improvement, testing system enhancements and documenting process
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, inserting/deleting pages, sections and tables and using features such as track changes
- Drafts contracts using approved contract templates or other sources such as prior contracts, with minimal errors
- Able to properly format contracts for consistency without issue
- Ability to manage 10 contracts in varying stages at any given time
- Good written and verbal communication skills

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Travel (% or number of days) - Fully remote; minimal travel
- Hours (Hours per week, days of the week) - 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business
- Master’s degree in business is desirable
- Experience and/or Training
- 0 – 3 years’ experience
- Must be able to manage multiple contract deliverables across various service areas at any one time
- Strong understanding of contract and legal terminology
- Think critically; identify and raise issues and risks in a contract or process
- Possess a general understanding of EVERSANA’s business model and be conscious of profit and loss implications based on contract elements
- Confident working with all internal and external levels of staff
- Technology/Equipment
- Prior working experience in a contract management system and Salesforce
- Experience working
