Special Projects Coordinator I, II or III-Facilities Office (Austin District)

TxDOT's Austin District is looking for a Special Project Coordinator I, II or III based out of our District Headquarters in Austin, TX. The Facility Maintenance Special Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and compliance of agency facilities. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing special maintenance projects across multiple locations, including transit centers, administrative offices, and operational facilities. The Coordinator works closely with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with agency standards and reglatory requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for ONE Special Project Coordinator I, II or III. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.

Salary Plan/Grade:

Special Project Coordinator I:  B19 ($48,244.00 - $76,028.00/yearly)

Special Project Coordinator II: B21($54,278.00 - $87,046.00/yearly)

Special Project Coordinator III: B23 ($61,184.00 - $99,658.00/yearly)
