Work Environment This position is located in our outpatient office in Fairfax, Virginia, where we provide a supportive and collaborative work environment. Operating Monday through Friday, our structure allows for a consistent 40-hour work week without weekend shifts, enabling a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our treatments. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish appropriate treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address patients’ physical conditions and functional limitations. Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to facilitate recovery and enhance performance. Engage in continuous communication with patients, offering insights into their progress and adjusting care strategies as necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with legal standards and contributing to quality assurance processes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience. Meet utilization goals and participate in organizational objectives to improve service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping pediatric, geriatric, and athletic patients regain their strength and function, thereby positively impacting their daily living activities and overall well-being. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program. Active state licensure in Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating with team members. Proficient with standard office software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients to enhance their rehabilitation experience and outcomes. Preferred Experience While we require a foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles, we prefer candidates who have experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Familiarity with manual therapy techniques, exercise biomechanics, and patient education is a strong plus. Additionally, a track record of fostering community relationships will help you succeed in our organization. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
