The Senior Consultant is responsible for maintaining overall knowledge of products and services offered by ABS and supporting internal and external clients.
This position is remote eligible.
What You Will Do:
- Consult with clients to identify and resolve complex situations by meeting the goals and objectives and delivering results on time.
- Develop technical solutions and execute strategies to support client needs.
- Function as a liaison for our clients to help establish or maintain an ongoing client relationship.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Support clients with technical issues via telephone or on-site visits to resolve clients’ questions on performing specific tasks.
- Lead and assist with cross-training other employees to ensure they are fully equipped to perform their job duties.
- Analyzes client’s business processes and recommends best practices to improve efficiencies.
- Manage and guide junior consultants to ensure they are fully qualified with the necessary skills and requirements.
- Discover new opportunities with current and future projects by strengthening client relationships.
- While the position is remote, the candidate must be willing to travel up to 50%
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in work experience and training.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred. Knowledge of operational technology cybersecurity and understanding these differences from information technology cybersecurity.
- Experience working in high-hazard operating environments covered by any of the 16 Critical Infrastructure Sectors is preferred.
- Professional coursework or certifications related to cybersecurity or engineering is required, such as a GICSP, CISSP, OSCP, SANS ICS410, ICS418, ICS456, ICS515, etc
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with basic computer networking (LAN, WAN, Telecommunications) is required. Industrial Control System (ICS) networking experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Industrial control systems commonly used in US Electric, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Maritime sectors.
- Experience providing subject matter expertise in the guidance and implementation of technical solutions in critical infrastructure operating environments.
- Candidate must possess working knowledge of applicable regulations and cybersecurity standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, NIST 800-53, API 11 64, NERC CIP, etc.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of operational technology cybersecurity and understanding these differences from information technology cybersecurity.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to a Senior Program Manager, Cybersecurity Operations. Does not have direct reports but may in the future.
Salary Range: $105,000 to $120,000 based on experience
Notice:
