Greenheck Group is seeking a Production Manager to directly supervise and develop production supervisors and hourly production personnel. As a Production Manager, you will oversee the daily execution and setting of long-term strategy for consistently meeting the production plan for the plant. You will build relationships with both office and production team members to increase employee engagement and morale.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 

• Plan, monitor, and communicate daily, monthly, and annual production goals.
• Build on and support a proactive safety culture
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed by production employees
• Continual improvement of productivity and efficiencies through effective employee relations, manpower planning, GPS principles, material and parts planning, and timely resolution of production bottlenecks.
• Ensure the maintenance and maximum utilization of production machinery and equipment.
• Internal coordination with scheduling parts, receiving, shipping and engineering departments. 
• Review and manage salary expenditures in the form of hourly overtime or salaried merit increases.
• Provide input to improve plant layout and processes on a continuing basis.
• Understand and comply with governmental regulations.
• Represent manufacturing with outside visitors such as company tours, applicants in the interview process or vendors/suppliers as needed.

 

 

What You’ll Need:

 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• 5-7 years of experience required
• Action-oriented with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Promote collaboration throughout value stream and across all shifts
• Positive culture attitude and appreciation of team member input
• Ability to gather, analyze and communicate production data metrics to the leadership team
• Understanding of value stream flow, lean principles and problem-solving
