Position Overview:
Forge Biologics is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to join our 2023 Ignite Internship Program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the oversight of the manufacture of life changing gene therapies for human use. You will gain hands-on experience and assist with review of operation documentation, learn about regulatory agency requirements, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Who you are:
- You are a current junior currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
- You are studying Pre-Med, Life Sciences, Operations Management or related field
- You are a self-starter, detail-oriented, collaborative, and organized
- You have an interest in the impact of Quality Assurance, operations, and efficiencies
What you'll do:
- You will assist in the review of documentation (SOPs, logbooks, other manufacturing documents) to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- You will gain experience in using the Quality Management System contributing to Change Control, CAPA, and investigational processes with Quality Assurance supervision
- You support several cross-functional quality system activities and work manufacturing personnel and other teams

Forge Biologic’s Ignite Internship Program is designed to provide meaningful experiences in a professional environment while giving our interns the experience to network with Senior Leadership and peers through a variety of activities and events. Over the course of the Summer Internship Program, you will work on real business issues/projects and learn from industry leaders. Our interns will work onsite at our offices in Grove City, OH (just 15 minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio).
