Hotel 43 Part-Time Night Auditor/Overnight Supervisor

The  responsibility of the Hotel 43 Night Auditor/Overnight Supervisor is to assist with  operational coverage during the overnight shift for all aspects of the  hotel ensuring optimum guest satisfaction. An Overnight Supervisor oversees the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotels continuing effort to deliver exceptional guest service and financial profitability. We are looking  for someone that wants to make a difference and get it right not only for our business but also for our guests every time. 

SUMMARY

As  a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the  overnight shift operates smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate will maintain attention to details and accounting skills with the ability to function at a high level during the hours of 11pm to 7am.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Reconcile, review, and compile management reports on a timely basis, ensuring the accuracy of guest billings. 
• Follows audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense  transactions, identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations, and  takes initiative to correct errors to prevent re-occurrence.
• Work to remedy and resolve any guest concerns or challenges to ensure  the satisfaction of hotel guests, including effectively communicating  related issues to management.
• Greets guests; performs front desk duties including check-ins, check-outs, and processing of charges and adjustments.
• Represent the hotel with the highest level of integrity and  professionalism, with a service focused approach and a caring, sincere  attitude.
• Complete all duties in accordance with property  standards and adhere to all company policies and legal requirements  regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the  property.
• Completes end-of-duty shift report documenting shift  events and alerting overnight and next-day staff of any necessary  updates or alerts.
