The Department of Neurology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join our dynamic and expanding clinical and academic program.This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative team at one of the leading academic medical centers in the country, with access to robust resources for research, clinical care, and education.
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tremor, chorea, and atypical parkinsonian syndromes)
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and collaborate with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and other specialties
- Teach and mentor neurology residents, fellows, and medical students
- Engage in clinical research, with protected time and support available
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and academic initiatives within the department
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency
- Fellowship training in Movement Disorders (required)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience
