Senior Accountant

<p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"> </p> Location:   Romania/Bucharest  Remote work: Hybrid <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Main Duties And Responsibilities</p> <p>The senior accountant would typically handle the larger, more complex and higher risk accounts and be autonomously responsible for:</p> <p>1. Month end reporting: Prepare the month end financial information to a high standard in accordance with required reporting legislations and within the corporate deadlines</p> <p>2. Support Annual Financial Statements preparation: Ensure that all required documentation is gathered and supplied timely to the auditors, support US GAAP vs Local GAAP reconciliations</p> <p>3. Taxation: Support compliance with local tax legislation, authorities (VAT &amp; Corporate Tax) and internal Transfer pricing policies.</p> <p>4. Internal Control: Support compliance with the internal controls framework designed and approved by the Internal Controls Team (RACM procedures) and maintenance of the of the Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation</p> <p>5. Business Awareness: Liaise cross-functionally within Finance and ensure Internal Control activities are maintained and adhered to where applicable</p> <p>6. Active participation in ad-hoc business and controlling projects</p> <p>Moreover, the senior accountant will offer support to accountants as and when required</p> <p> </p> <p>To Join Our Team You Will Need</p> <p>1. Business Administration Degree or equivalent (MBA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent - nice to have)</p> <p>2. 3-5 years of experience relevant to finance and accounting with continuously increased responsibility.</p> <p>3. Candidate also has experience collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants</p> <p>4. Strong knowledge in accounting principles for both local and US GAAP/IFRS</p> <p>5. Deep understanding of accounting procedures, business processes and operations</p> <p>6. High degree of computer literacy (SAP, Microsoft Office)</p> <p>7.
