Product Manager - Inventory & Product Catalog

Your role 

As the Inventory & Product Catalog Platform Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our Inventory Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to capture, organize, prioritize, track, and deliver functionality of the platform ensuring data accuracy and enhance overall operational efficiency.

What you’ll do 

• Feature Management:
  • Under the direction of the Inventor Platform lead, develop and manage the platform feature roadmap.
  • Coordinate across required teams to facilitate, develop, and launch features within the platform. 
  • Collaborate with Product Integration management to deliver cross functional and business impacting changes and capabilities.
• Product Catalog Management:
  • Perform as the product catalog, optionality, availability, and pricing SME for the platform consulting with Product Management as key resource to assist as required ensuring product data is accurate within the platform and any subsequent platform required to deliver CPQ functionality within the business.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of product information, including descriptions, specifications, and pricing.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor product coordinators to achieve strategic goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to develop their skills and advance their careers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with IT, finance, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient decision-making and problem-solving.

What you’ll need 

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, catalog management, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of leading successful product launches and initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
• Experience with inventory, product management, and CPQ systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
