Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Rover in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or suspicious behavior.
• Support a professional atmosphere by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with directions, information, and other security-related needs consistent with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
