Senior Product Marketing Manager — Solutions, Enterprise and Mid-Market B2B
HPAbout the role
Description -
You will lead a product marketing team and own go-to-market execution for solutions within HP’s Z portfolio, along with new category creation of ZGX. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll manage and coach direct reports, set strategy for category positioning and launches, drive outcomes through internal stakeholders and external partners (channel, OEMs, system integrators). Success means building repeatable GTM motions that translate technical differentiation (Z Workstations, ZGX, Boost, AI Studio) into measurable pipeline, customer adoption, and partner traction.
What you’ll own (manager-level responsibilities)
- Team leadership & development: recruit, coach, mentor, and performance-manage PMMs/marketing specialists along with hosted GTM members. Create clear roles, career paths, and execution rhythms.
- Strategy & execution: translate the product vision into a one-page solution & category narrative, buyer personas, and prioritized GTM plays; own delivery across PoC → GA.
- Cross-functional orchestration: coordinate Product, Engineering, Sales, Channel, Demand Gen, and Legal to deliver launches, packaging, pricing inputs, and SLAs.
- Field & partner enablement at scale: build playbooks, sales decks, battlecards, ROI tools, ambassador programs, and partner training programs — and ensure adoption through metrics and coaching.
- Demand influence & ROI: partner with demand gen to design targeted campaigns, measure pipeline influence, and optimize plays based on data.
- Voice of customer & feedback loop: run structured /advisory programs, capture field feedback, and drive prioritized product/marketing requirements.
- Operational discipline: create & execute launch checklists, readiness gates, decision logs, post-mortems, and a single source of truth for assets and metrics.
- Stakeholder management: influence senior sales and product leaders to secure commitments, timelines, and executive support when escalation is required.
People management expectations
- Set clear OKRs for each direct report and review progress monthly.
- Build a high-performing culture of execution, feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Own hiring plan and onboarding for the PMM & Hosted GTM function in your area.
Must-have qualifications
- 5+ years in product marketing with at least 1–2 years managing a small team (people manager experience required).
- Experience in AI infrastructure, workstation ecosystems, or edge compute.
- Experience with AI developer needs, communities and proven curious mind to learn new technologies
- Proven track record launching B2B products and driving GTM execution end-to-end (hardware, software, or hybrid).
- Technical fluency with compute/hardware-adjacent products (ability to translate specs — GPUs, workstations, accelerator tradeoffs — into buyer value).
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills — able to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal storytelling for both technical and executive audiences.
- Metrics-driven: experience setting KPIs (pipeline influenced, conversion uplift) and using data to iterate GTM.
- Channel partner enablement at scale (partner training programs, co-sell motions).
Education
- Background in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree/experience.
