About the role

Advisor Service Associate I
Basic Function: Reporting to the Advisor Services Manager, the Advisor Service Associate assists their assigned department and team in the daily management of the business. Tasks may vary according to the business and can include advisor/client calls, review of new accounts, deposits and disbursements, reconciliation of reports, and other tasks as assigned.

We seek a motivated, self-starting, passionate team player to join our firm in the role of Operations Specialist. The Advisor Service Specialist is a member of the Adviser Service organization and works with Advisors and clients to support their day-to-day needs.
(Processor) Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Transaction processing
• Execute and oversee the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including but not limited to trades, transfers, and account maintenance.
• Process daily transactions while meeting process requirements, SLAs and achieving quality metrics
• Comply with policy and procedures of the team and regulatory requirements
• Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness and clearly communicate with advisors if items need attention
• Communicate NIGO issues to Advisors and follow-up according to standard procedures
• Develop working relationships with internal and external Lincoln associates and branch offices
Knowledge/Experience:
• Preferred:
◦ Financial Services experience
◦ Client service background
◦ Investment/operations/advisory/transaction processing experience
◦ Strong knowledge of business computer applications (Microsoft Excel and Word)
• Helpful:
◦ Familiarity with the Pershing clearing and custody platform Previous experience in same-day processing environment
◦ Retirement Plans knowledge
Skills:
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to prioritize work and meet daily workload and deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education or related experience
Certification/Registrations: SIE and Series 7 preferred
Physical/Other Requirements: May sit at workstation for extended periods of time; may view computer screen for extended periods of time. Periods of fast pace are typical, particularly when working to meet daily deadlines.
Location Preference: Ft. Washington, PA, or Philadelphia metro area. Hybrid and remote opportunities may be available.
