Job Description

• financial requirements preparation of projects, conveyor architecture
• cost estimation
• full-time equivalent planning (resource allocation),  
• development of engineering strategies and tracking progress of Vehicle Process Engineering launches.   
• Alignment with global team, KPI’s. 
• Keep tracking of the LRP projects and translate to the Conveyor and facilities launch cadence. 
• Keep NA Conveyors and facilities sourcing strategy VPE/Purchasing   
• Conveyors performance & lesson learned tracking by participating with Plants maintenance and SPW teams PC1 weekly analysis. 
• Support Capex reduction initiatives. 
• Support & maintain all aspects of Conveyor Standards and Specifications 
• Support in establishing project timing. 
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress. 
• Supervise resources. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent or HSD with 10+ years of experience in an automation environment.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in an automation environment.
• Experience managing a technical team. 
• Experience in forecasting and estimating cost associated with manufacturing equipment and projects.
• Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution experience. 
• Strong understanding of Conveyor machine and process 
• Innovative thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills 
• Demonstrated team leadership and communication skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and SQL)
