Role Overview

Are you ready to join a dynamic and passionate team of healthcare professionals? At Memorial Sloan Kettering, our team of over 900 Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants is at the forefront of cancer care. We are currently seeking a dedicated APP for our Inpatient Hospital Medicine team at Mary Manning Walsh. You'll have the unique opportunity to provide holistic, goal-concordant care to cancer patients, supporting them through their post-acute hospitalization journey. We provide expert consultation, in collaboration with Mary Manning Walsh team to support MSK patients while admitted. Your expertise will be vital in managing the physical and psychological needs of our patients, coordinating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless oncologic care. In addition, you will be providing support to our amazing group of triage APPs ensuring patient flow when needed.  Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients every day!

 

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification and BLS Certification
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• Prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• 2+ years experience as an APP required (oncology /medicine experience preferred)

OR

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification and BLS certification
• 2+ years experience as an APP required (oncology /medicine experience preferred)

Additional Information:

Hours: Four 10 hours shifts Monday - Friday . No weekend or holiday required 

Location: Mary Manning Walsh 1339 York Ave NY, NY and 1274 York Ave NY, NY 

Pay Range: 144k-182k
