Job Description:

Summary:

The Kogod School of Business Office of Graduate Admissions oversees the entire application process for the Full-Time MBA, along with five on-campus Master of Science programs and five online Master of Science Programs. The Kogod Graduate Admissions Team is seeking a part time student assistant to support enrollment activities. This position will report directly to an Assistant Director of Admissions, though the Admissions Assistant will provide support to all members of the Kogod Graduate Admissions team.

Essential Functions:

  • Providing support for prospective students via email, phone, and front desk operations.

  • Facilitating inquiries from walk-in prospects, responding to general email inquiries.

  • Conducting building and campus tours for prospective students.

  • Maintaining spreadsheets for prospective inquiries, campus visits, and yield follow-up.

  • Providing support for processing graduate application materials.

  • Auditing and updating applicant files as needed.

  • Conduct individual email/phone outreach.

  • Assisting with pre-event set up and post-event follow up.

  • Assembling information packets for use with events.

  • Stocking admissions materials and publications in Kogod displays.

  • Conduct individual email/phone outreach.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Salary Range:

  • $18.50 per hour.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-Time.

  • 15-20 hours per week.

  • Scheduled work hours are flexible between Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidate must be a current KSB sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student; this position is not open to first-year students or non-KSB students.

  • Strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail and possess a general understanding of the admissions process (from prospect to enrolled student).

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Candidate must be able and willing to work in an in-person environment depending on CDC/AU hybrid guidelines.

Prefered Education and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience preferred.
