Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for daily plant accounting functions; including but not limited to entering attendance points, general ledger duties, plant audits, inventory validation, etc. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks, setting priorities, evaluating results, and the ability to work independently and with a diversified group. This includes verifying and checking documents for reasonableness and also requires interaction with supervisors and other plant management. This list is not all inclusive and there may be other duties as assigned. Applicant will be expected to cross-train in all areas of the office to provide vacation and sick coverage. This position is also required to go into the production area and outside as needed (approximately once per month). Must be able to lift 5-10 lbs (to file paperwork in file boxes).

REQUIREMENTS: Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational school or other related experience.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of general office experience

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient computer skills – Advanced Microsoft Office &  Excel experience required. SAP experience a plus.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.  Professionalism is a must.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams; with little to no supervision. Must be organized.
