In this role, you will primarily support Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development Leadership members based in Cambridge, UK and Gaithersburg, MD. Accountabilities:
As an Administrative Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Provide PA support to Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development Leadership. This includes calendar management to schedule both virtual and face-to-face meetings and prioritizing calendar conflicts across multiple international time zones. It also includes making multi-location, domestic and international travel arrangements as well as expense reporting.
Working flexibly with administrators in Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development to divide tasks amongst the team to ensure a balanced workload.
Establish and maintain a robust professional network across administrative teams within AstraZeneca on cross-functional and cross-organizational meetings, events, & processes.
Effectively lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
Manage SharePoint websites to update content on a regular basis.
Produce accurate and properly formatted documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Schedule candidate interviews, and handle onboarding procedures for new hires.
Essential Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required with 3+ years of administrative support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
Experience with effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
Ability to prioritize time critical assignments
Excellent teamwork, networking and influencing skills
Prior experience supporting multiple functional leaders
Desired Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Relevant training, multitasking, certifications in software, and/or time management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competency with meeting logistics and virtual technologies such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
Ability to work autonomously
Efficient in supporting staff with software updates
Strong time-management skills
