  • Helps to requisitions supplies through County purchasing system and maintains department inventory.
  • Creates and maintains clients files with accurate records for attorneys.
  • Communicates with clients and their families; Responds to incoming inquiries by taking messages, answering questions and directing calls to appropriate person or area. 
  • Researches different software systems to acquire accurate information for attorneys.
  • Helps prepare and processes bi-weekly payroll for department.
  • Creates and maintains department forms for staff use.
  • Gathers appropriate data and documentation for quarterly and annual reports and/or budgets, audits, and reviews by county, state and federal agencies.
  • Assists attorneys with operation of department by performing administrative functions.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Four years of responsible office/clerical experience.
  • Highly advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and variety of software applications. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, department and elected officials.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $17.95 - $22.44 hourly based on qualifications

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
