Job Description
RESPEC is a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Rapid City, SD, office. This position will assist in answering phones, scheduling events, and supporting the Accounting and Marketing Departments.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet visitors and direct them to the correct person or department
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Process monthly billings
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail/packages
- Order office and kitchen supplies and restock when necessary
- Coordinate, plan, and manage internal and external local office events/parties
- Make travel arrangements
- Place lunch orders
- Coordinate and manage reservations, conference rooms, and appointments
- Respond to inquiries professionally in person, over the phone, and online
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- High school education or equivalent
Preferred qualifications include the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Additional Information
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
