About the role
Who We Are & What We Do
At Helix, our mission is simple: to help everyone improve their lives through their DNA.
Ready to make a real-world impact with your skills? At Helix, we're transforming healthcare by making genomics a standard of care. We partner with health systems and life science companies to accelerate the integration of genomic data into clinical practice. Join us in building a future where healthcare is personalized, proactive, and powered by genomics.
What is special about this role?
The Helix Clinico-genomic Data Solutions Engineering team plays a pivotal role in Helix’s efforts to provide a first-in-class clinico-genomics research dataset for our partners to conduct and publish cutting-edge genomic studies. We are responsible for building and making these data available for use by both our internal Research and Analytical Teams as well as external Health System Researchers and Life Sciences customers.
Our clinico-genomic dataset includes clinical and Exome+ sequencing data and is curated to facilitate the discovery of novel genomic disease risks, enhance patient recruitment for clinical studies, support clinical decision-making, and optimize care pathways. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enabling our stakeholders to engage with these data and the associated toolings. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and effective utilization of the data, tools, and platforms created by the team. As a Data Solutions Engineer II, you will:
Work closely with our stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary information needed to work with our datasets. You will be their primary contact for data support, ranging from hosting kick off calls to facilitating office hours. A primary function will be to coordinate with internal teams to get the required information to the client. The successful candidate will have experience with large clinico-genomic datasets, strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in pre-sales or post-sales engineering roles.
