Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Software Lead (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. Manage global software test organization. Manage manual software testing and software test automation. Provide continuous software testing inside the continuous software integration environment. Manage in vehicle software testing for different products as well as subsystems (cloud computing, edge computing). Develop or acquire software tools to improve testing. Track KPIs. Train part time team members to flash software, understand, classify, and report software bugs, to work with cloud software and device software, automatically test software. Manage vehicle pilots and performance runs with end users in North America. Analyze software bugs by using cloud or conventional methods. Support with hands-on software testing activities. Grow and develop junior engineers. Mentor junior engineers in the area of software testing. Telecommuting: 3 days work from home permitted per week. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Test Lead, Software Manager or occupation involving leadership within the engineering field. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira or Rational Team Concert); (2) Embedded Software or Edge computing; (3) Testing of highly complex software systems (processes, concepts, quality expectations, or requirements handling); (4) Directing a team of global engineers using priority lists in form of a technical backlog (e.g. Atlassian tools); and (5) Prioritization and reporting to upper management using Metrics, Confluence charts, Power BI or similar tools.
