Senior Agency Executive Assistant

The GEICO Agency Operations team is looking for organized and ambitious candidate for the role of Senior Executive Assistant, who performs a variety of administrative functions in support of our Vice President, Senior Director and our Director team. In this role the candidate will:
Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments, expense reports, and travel arrangements
Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and events
Screen and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate parties
Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
Assist in preparing presentations and other materials for meetings
Maintain and organize filing systems, both physical and digital
Conduct research and compile data as needed
Coordinate and track expenses and reimbursements
Support onboarding needs for field associates
Provide general administrative support to the executive team as needed
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities
Responsible for the coordination and logistics of both internal and external meetings, offsite conferences, and external events; including catering and transport
Approaches new challenges and high-pressure situations with a positive attitude and calm demeanor
Qualifications:
Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
Must be able to multi-task
Must be a fast learner who can apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Work activities involve combinations of sitting, walking, kneeling, climbing, pulling, bending, lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods. Must be able to perform all activity types
3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or related experience
Location:
GEICO regional office: Tucson, AZ or Chevy Chase, MD
4 days/week onsite, 1 days remote
