What You Will Do
Perform a variety of duties to locate, check follow-up, stage and return after use, necessary tools, gages, and related materials needed to perform manufacturing operations in assigned areas.
Obtain and assemble from various sources (including CSRS, flow line cribs, etc.) all tools and gages or alternates required for prescribed production operations.
Ensure all tools and gages, including personal gages, are within calibrated date. Arrange for recalibration as required. Identify and segregate obsolete, un-calibrated and damaged gages.
Follow-up priority tools or gages out for repair or calibration; determine availability date and expedite return.
After usage arrange for return of tools and gages to CSRS or return to applicable storage areas.
Set-up and build kits using SAP system.
Assist inspection in obtaining/returning production gages for joint use to meet production schedules.
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to identify alternate tools, gages, or grinding wheels when specified equipment is not available.
Work with supervisors and CSRS to define, list and update work instruction changes as necessary.
Notify CSRS of any out of date files.
Work with supervisor to determine what is needed in flow line cribs, set floats and adjust as necessary. Assure information pertaining to stock levels is accurately entered into computer terminals and reflects current inventory.
Assist supervision and operators in resolving tool shortages, locating lost tools, fixtures, work instructions, etc.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
1st shift, 5x8hrs. 6-2:30 or 7-3:30

Qualifications You Must Have
High School or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
Requires knowledge of arithmetic including decimals and fractions, and use of variable measuring instruments and ability to prepare a variety of paperwork.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, must work from specified verbal or written instructions and operation sheets, and drawings or other production procedures
Knowledge of ACE tools preferred.
Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
