Job Description:

   

The Global Service Line Management Leader is responsible for the operational continuous improvement calendar through defining the right governance to support HPE strategy execution, driving growth, and overseeing the global operational and financial performance of various business service lines. This involves collaborating with regional leaders and executive committees to ensure strategic alignment, innovative service delivery, and high-value customer solutions worldwide. Key duties include developing service standards, fostering innovation, and acting as a senior leader within the organization to guide the service line's vision and profitability.

Scope & Core responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure best-in-class service delivery, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive improvements in operational efficiency and quality.
    • Operational Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
    • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to align with organizational goals and vision for the service line.
    • Performance Monitoring: Tracking and interpreting performance targets for quality, activity, workforce, and financial outcomes.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and motivate cross-functional and multicultural service teams (Direct and indirect reporting lines), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and the leadership team to align service plans with enterprise goals.
  • Service Innovation: Drive innovation in service offerings and operations to meet evolving client needs.
  • Business Development: Support business development opportunities and sales initiatives, providing technical expertise and market insights to identify and pursue new service offerings.

Typical duties in practice:

  • Setting Targets: Establishing performance targets and providing context to teams on how their efforts contribute to organizational goals.
  • Mentoring and Development: Coaching and mentoring team members, supporting their career development, and identifying training needs.
  • Process Improvement: Working to optimize service processes, improve efficiency, and introduce innovative solutions, such as assistive technology.
  • Reporting: collaborate with the Capacity, Capability and Analytics group to providing reports to senior leaders on the team's and service's performance and identifying needs for additional support.

  • Typically requires a degree in a relevant field, such as health, business, or leadership, sometimes with additional management qualifications.
