Description
Offsite cardiac diagnostic testing is provided adjacent to DO offices, allowing patients to complete testing at the same convenient location as their provider. The stress lab performs both Nuclear Stress Tests and Cardiac Stress Tests, with team members supporting the Cardiac Sonographer as needed. All Elyria stress lab positions require travel between Elyria stress lab locations.
Job Description:
This nurse is responsible for managing patients throughout cardiac and nuclear stress testing, working closely with a CVT or Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform each exam. Each stress room performs approximately 5–6 stress tests per day, including Nuclear stress tests (Gates) and Cardiac stress tests (Gates and Westlake). The nurse also supports the Cardiac Sonographer as needed by inserting IVs and administering image-enhancing medications. In addition, the nurse contacts patients daily to provide pre-test instructions and collaborates with scheduling staff to ensure efficient lab operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications
1 year RN experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred
Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio
