To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <p>Our Uptower Repair Wind Technician will be performing up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components including Generator Bearings, Generator Slip Rings, Rotor & Stator Cables, Gearbox HSS replacement, HSS bearings, IMS replacement, IMS bearings, Yaw Drive Repair/Exchange, Generator Exchanges & Trunnion Pin Repairs. Carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor assembly, minor service & troubleshooting. They are required to climb vertically at least 300ft. Must maintain certifications in all areas required by the position. The Position is 100% travel currently on 6 weeks on 1 week off rotation.</p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems.</li> <li>Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers.</li> <li>Direct Turbine Specific experience is required- GE, SGRE, and Suzlon experience is preferred.</li> <li>May be required to perform LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) of equipment as an Authorized Person. </li> <li>At times, you may be required to support lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.</strong></p> <p><strong>Core Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Direct Turbine Specific experience is required- GE, SGRE, and Suzlon experience is preferred.</li> <li>MCE experience required with additional knowledge in lifting/hoisting operations.</li> <li>Generator a
