Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Application Tester in San Luis Obispo, CA, San Diego, CA, or Maryland Heights, MO. In this position you be responsible for software testing service, completion and decisions at the release and product level. You will join an agile cross-functional team that supports your skill development and successful software delivery. Position Responsibilities:

• Verification & validation of software via automated & manual functional & non-functional testing.
• Test case configuration, creation, maintenance, and execution.
• Defect reporting, triage, and confirmation.
• Test cycle planning, monitoring, and reporting for software releases.
• Internal and external stakeholder communication of software and testing status.
• Support for adoption of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., training, tools, processes).

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of software testing experience
• Automated testing & scripting experience
• Agile Software Development Lifecycle experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Completed STEM Higher Education
• Software development and DevOps experience
• Technical writing experience

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).
