Job Description:

Position Summary:

The EHR Implementation and Support Specialist will primarily assist physician practices in adopting, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Electronic Health Record software within provider practices.

This candidate will be responsible for training, implementing, and supporting Allscripts Professional Electronic Medical Record software. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the software vendor as well as physician practice resources in order to meet go-live deadlines and organize training agendas for each practice.  The position will require travel in the Denver area to the physician practices. 

Essential Functions:

• Provide system setup, configuration changes, training, implementation, and support of Electronic Health Record (EHR). 
• Provide system setup, configuration changes, training, implementation, and support of Practice Management activities including Billing, Scheduling, and Front Desk Operations. 
• Work closely with Software Vendor as well as physician practice resources.
• Collaborate with leadership, staff and partners to ensure coordinated delivery of services to clients.  Work with cross-departmental teams to forward company and client efforts to adopt the use EHR technology.
• Build and maintain relationships with physician practices as well as third party vendors.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Other duties as assigned

This position is a full-time Work From Home role (Withing the Denver metro area)

Our business hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

Travel: Up to 20  %

On-call:  There will be some light-duty on-call responsibilities for the Saturday clinic and after-hours support

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Provide support for the implementation and optimization of the Allscripts EHR system
• Work with clinical and administrative teams to identify and address workflow issues
• Analyze system usage and make recommendations for improvements
• Participate in testing and validation of EHR system upgrades and enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 2+ Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Two years of experience with training and implementation on EHR professional and Practice Management
• Two years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records. (Implementations and Training)
• A Valid unrestricted drivers’ license
• Home office that is HIPAA compliant for all remote or telecommuting positions as outlined by the company policies and procedures.

Salary Range:

$73,093-$91,366
