The MEP Scheduler will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in life sciences, pharmaceutical, and construction projects. They'll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely execution and completion of MEP-related tasks in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies, including WBS/CBS structures and progress measurement systems
  • Prepare and maintain detailed schedules for manufacturing, packaging, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) activities using scheduling software
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement, engineering, warehouse) to ensure schedule feasibility and resource availability
  • Integrate MEP and validation schedules (SAT, IV/OV, PQ, PV) into the overall project timeline
  • Monitor and adjust schedules in response to delays or changes, ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards
  • Track procurement milestones including fabrication, FAT, shipping, and delivery
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and link risk mitigation plans to change and estimate processes
  • Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and risks to stakeholders through reports and presentations
  • Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in planning meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop project closeout plans and perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications/ Relevant Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project controls and time/schedule management.
  • Proficient and expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Acumen Suite) 
  • Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required 
  • MEP Engineering Background – A degree or coursework in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering can provide deeper technical knowledge.
  • Construction Scheduling Expertise – Certifications like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project proficiency are highly beneficial.
  • Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical Compliance – Understanding FDA, GMP, and ISO regulations is a plus.
  • Organized and detail oriented
