About the role

This position will develop and implement impact projects as well as culture and change management initiatives for the Division of Enrollment Development and Educational Outreach (EDEO), utilizing innovative approaches to ensure alignment with the University and EDEO’s mission, strategic priorities, and ecosystems. This role will also serve as senior advisor to the Vice President, overseeing operations of the Office of the Vice President, and provide coaching and support for Divisional leaders towards high quality programs with data driven approaches and solutions.

Primary Duties

  • Lead the Division of Enrollment Development and Educational Outreach (EDEO) impact projects and culture and change management initiatives by developing shared and measurable goals and leveraging strategies and innovations for broad investment and impact.
  • Responsible for measuring and communicating EDEO’s impact and ensuring strategies translate into action by all areas within the Division.
  • Ensure all internal and external initiatives are aligned with the University and Division’s mission, strategic priorities, and ecosystems.
  • Partner with the Office of Institutional Analysis to track performance toward key goals using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Represent and assist the Vice President in leadership and operational oversight for the Division of Enrollment Development and Educational Outreach.
  • Facilitate budget oversight, development, and recommendations to the Vice President.
  • Assist the Vice President in prioritizing strategic communication and initiatives and ensure implementation.
  • Support the Vice President in facilitating confidential matters and documents to disseminate to University President and senior leadership team.
  • Provide professional development, training and coaching for EDEO leaders.
  • Serve as point of contact on behalf of the Vice President to internal and external stakeholders including members of the EDEO leadership team.
  • Monitor and evaluate organizational effectiveness across the EDEO Division and implement strategies for process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by the leadership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Master's degree.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education.
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Experience in working with a wide variety of stakeholders, partners, and organizations.
  • Effective communication skills, which include cross-cultural, interpersonal, effective writing and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse set of partners in service of advancing innovations and solutions with a strong sense of political acumen.
  • A willingness to collaborate within and across teams, offices, departments, and external organizations.
  • Commitment to the values of social justice, equity, diversity and belonging.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with and ability to use computerized higher education systems such as Banner, EAB/Navigate and other student success management tools.
  • Experience using AI (Artificial Intelligence) for problem solving and efficiency creation in organizations.

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment. Some travel and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. 

Salary & Benefits: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00, commensurate with experience.
