The Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) team is seeking a motivated Test Development Engineer located at ADI’s Wilmington, MA headquarters. The MEMS team is a global, 100+ person group with excellent work-life balance, social events, professional networks, and a perfect place to start your engineering career. This test development engineer will be a key member of the team, working on highly complex systems with embedded software. Specific work will entail developing production worthy test solutions used to qualify and ship MEMS products to a wide array of markets, from navigational guidance to healthcare and many more.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
The Test Development Engineer’s primary function is to develop hardware, software, and systems for production test and calibration of modules based on MEMS technologies, including Inertial Measurement Units, or IMUs.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop test hardware and printed circuit boards to support device test and calibration.
Develop test and calibration software, commonly using .Net, NI LabVIEW / TestStand, and/or C#.
Utilize custom designed test systems and/or NI STS and/or PXI systems for device test and characterization.
Work with Design, Product, Applications and Marketing Engineers to determine test and calibration requirements.
Collaborate with a multifunctional and multi-site international team to support device calibration, characterization, and qualification for new product releases
Minimum qualifications
Position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Interest and expertise in analog and digital hardware development at the PCB level.
Interest and expertise in software development, including object-oriented development skills.
Troubleshooting skills including experience conducting experiments with lab equipment.
Candidates should have earned a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical or computer engineering.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with MEMS accelerometers, gyros, or IMUs is a plus.
Electromechanical control system and/or motion control knowledge is a plus.
Experience with NI tools (LabVIEW, TestStand) and/or Microsoft .Net (C#, VB.Net) is a plus
