Your mission
We are looking for a Jr. Accounting Specialist to join our team on a temporary contract. You will have the chance to kick-start your accounting career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting month-end closings, reporting, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the month-end closing activities for the entities and processes of responsibility
- Maintain the financial records of the relevant areas of responsibility in a timely and accurate manner ensuring integrity and compliance with accounting policies.
- Prepare general ledger journal entries for revenues, accounts receivable, bank movements, refunds, prepayments, etc.
- Reconcile all accounts under his/her responsibility to ensure financial data accurately reflects the financial position of the company.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other sorts of banking and cash management tasks.
- Compile accurate reports for management and for third parties, such as banks, auditors, etc.
- Assist in developing control procedures and organizational workflow to increase the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Your profile
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- University degree in Accounting/Finance
- Good Microsoft Office skills required
- Self-organized and responsible.
