The Opportunity:

As a CACI Project Supervisor, you will gain invaluable legal experience as a first line member of the CACI management team overseeing a team of legal professionals assigned to a high profile and complex civil matter.  You will enhance your management and communication skills by interacting with your staff and the DOJ case teams during the planning and execution of project requirements, schedules, and all support activities.

The Project Supervisor will be mainly responsible for call center operations, from training to supervising staff.

This role is located in DC and has the potential for hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

The project supervisor oversees all RECA paralegals and document management technicians with a focus on developing and leading the RECA call center. Tasks may include:

  • Providing initial training for new call center staff
  • Providing guidance to call center staff needing assistance with difficult calls
  • Taking an active leadership role in weekly call center staff meetings
  • Monitoring calls with claimants and providing feedback/quality assurance
  • Answering incoming calls as needed
  • Intervening on escalated calls directly assisting claimants
  • Providing daily updates to RECA leadership regarding call center matters including (now or repeat claimant issues, system/portal errors) 
  • Administrative duties may include monitoring staff attendance and assisting staff with personnel and technical issues.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Task management through the oversight of your team and in the delivery of quality work within strict deadlines in support of DOJ’s mission. 
  • Supervise a staff of other paralegals.
  • Direct supervision of a variety of Contractor staff, including clerical staff and first line supervisors. 
  • May require frequent contact with DOJ Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, etc., as well as with other Contractor components.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 5+ years related work experience.
  • 2+ years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects, including at least one year of supervisory experience, and proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support and eDiscovery activities.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of litigation support
  • Excellent writing skills and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs.
  • Requires hands-on familiarity the Government's data processing environment where the work is performed, including PC-based and virtual environments.
  • Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
  • Experience writing processes, procedures and SOPs.
  • Paralegal experience.
  • Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.


Desired:

  • Experience working in a call center is a plus.
  • Paralegal Certificate
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
