Driver/Behavioral Health Technician (Part-Time)

Come join our team as a Driver/Behavioral Health Tech at Sonora Behavioral Health Outpatient.  If you are reliable, passionate and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need through compassionate therapeutic practices while working in a team environment that supports learning and growth, this position may be right for you!  Successful candidates will have a level one fingerprint clearance card and clean driving record.

As a Driver, you will: 

• Provide transportation for patients and clients
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment per facility policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients

As a BHT, you will:

• Providing care, close supervision, and accurate documentation of patient behavior
• Maintaining a safety first environment
• Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
• Following facility policies and procedures and providing crisis intervention as necessary
• Actively participating in treatment teams
• Acting as a role model using appropriate de-escalation skills, active listening skills, appropriate tone and voice volume, providing a variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining proper boundaries, and promoting positive peer culture
