Responsibilities & Qualifications

What awaits you:

 

The Manager Applications is a member of the Novelis Enterprise Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) and will manage the COE team members within the Europe region. The manager will act as a change agent and collaborate with the global and regional Business Relationship Managers and Business Partners to assess and anticipate business functions’ related demands. The manager will also have a role as a functional manager of the SAP global template and peripheral global enterprise application resources across designated end to end process (E2E) areas and will therefore be involved in managing the global SAP activities for the respective E2E area. The tasks in detail:

• You manage the Enterprise solutions SAP COE in the Europe region consisting of 8 people located in Switzerland, Germany and the UK
• You are responsible for deploying SAP and peripheral systems in the Novelis Europe region – current focus being the deployment at the Koblenz facility
• You facilitate and participate in modelling and integrating the aerospace business processes and other requirements of the project into the global SAP PGE template solutions
• During the SAP deployment projects in the Europe region you manage cross-team integration and develop the cutover strategy and approach in coordination with the PMO (Project Management Office), business leads and COE peers
• You are governing and driving improvements, and you promote robust and efficient SAP solutions which are deployed and managed as global template solutions across all Novelis regions
• You develop and maintain relationships with business partners/stakeholders across all business process streams in the Novelis Europe region where the global enterprise application and related solutions are in use.
• You take over the coordination and communication with IT leads and other stakeholders who are engaged in projects across end-to-end processes and regions

 

How you convince us:

• You hold a university degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
• You bring at least 7 years of experience working with several SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules and peripheral applications in a managing position within a Discrete Manufacturing environment
• You participated in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation projects and filled a team lead, solution architect and/or project management role in at least one of these projects
• You know how to deliver projects and/or change requests utilizing agile and waterfall approaches
• You bring strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures
• You have proven working knowledge of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems and their direct implementation to enterprise application projects
• You have experience in working within a highly matrixed organization and in managing geographically distributed direct reports
• You feel comfortable operating as a cross-functional and end-to end business process Enterprise Application expert
• You have the ability to demonstrate ability to influence business and IT organizations on direction and prioritization of solutions
• Business fluent English and good German language skills complete your profile
