LPD Financial Team Lead - with NAVSEA PMS 377. PMS 377 is currently responsible for the following programs: LHA Replacement (LHA(R)), Acquisition Program, the Amphibious Transport Dock (LPD 17) amphibious ships, the Amphibious Assault Direction System (AADS) Acquisition and Life Cycle Management Program, and the Blue Force Tracker 2 (BFT-2) Program. The main focus of the program office activities includes ship acquisition, technical/system integration, ship production, testing, outfitting, GFE/GFI, and post-delivery for platforms under its cognizance. Support to the PMS 377 program office includes satisfying Navy and Marine Corps needs for all current and any future Programs/Platforms under the cognizance of the office.

**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
Overview / Job Responsibilities:
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Measuring organizational performance, assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the LPD budget.
- Developing guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
- Developing, updating, administering, and performing cost analysis and estimating products for LPD.
- Supporting annual cost estimate process to support budget planning and execution, contract negotiations, and other program decision making.
- Examining budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Examining past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
- Supporting contract negotiations, to include, but not limited to, pricing, technical analysis, and documentation creation.
- Developing, operating, updating, and maintaining cost and affordability models.
- Collecting, normalizing, and analyzing cost and programmatic data.
- Performing rapid response “what if” drills on the impact of technical and programmatic changes for LPD programs.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field.
- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in BFM, finance, or accounting.
- Demonstrated experience with Budgeting & Execution, Cost Estimating, Program Planning & Analysis, Earned Value Management, Funds Execution, and Budget Preparation & Justification
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to senior military and civilian leaders.
- SECRET Clearance is required.
