About the Team
Promotions enable merchants to deliver discounted offers to consumers to drive sales. The Promotions team builds different types of promotions, automated campaigns to optimize merchant ROI, and merchandising of promotions in the DoorDash app.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll lead a team of PMs to rapidly scale our Promotions business, setting the strategy for how ads and promotions work seamlessly together to drive meaningful merchant sales growth. You’ll play a critical role in improving the profitability of promotions for both merchants and DoorDash, all while delivering compelling savings for consumers. Beyond strategy, you’ll collaborate across the company to build the platform capabilities that empower internal teams to launch impactful promotions and fuel overall marketplace growth.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product, Vassili Samolis.
This role is a hybrid of remote work and in-person collaboration.

- Grow adoption of AI-powered Smart Campaigns, helping merchants easily run automated and effective promotion campaigns
- Define the strategy of how promotions and ads work together to drive growth for small and large merchants alike
- Drive meaningful consumer savings and incremental GOV growth for Doordash
- Improve promo incrementality for merchants by creating solutions that drive true incremental sales, not just discounts
- Lead impactful company-wide efforts to build new promotion types, merchandising and formats, and foundational platform capabilities

- You have 8+ years of Product Management Industry Experience
- You have 2+ years managing a team of Product Managers
- You have strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- You have strong strategy and execution chops and ability to influence stakeholders and leaders
- You have strong analytical skills
- You have experience presenting business reviews to senior executives
- You have empathy for the users you build for
- You are passionate about DoorDash and the problems we are solving for
- A strong plus if you have prior Offers or Merchandising experience (e.g. on consumer side) or prior Ads and Promo experience

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
