Warehouse Supervisor (2nd Shift - 12:00PM to 8:30PM)

Goodyear Belts by Adventry Corp, a leading manufacturer and distributor of Industrial and Automotive Aftermarket Power Transmission Belts, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its 2nd shift (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM) at our facility in the automotive industry. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic, ambitious and focused individual to join our team and help maintain our position as a top industry provider. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for managing and providing guidance to warehouse staff, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

We are looking for a person with a solid organization and multitasking skills, with a degree in a discipline such as inventory management, supply chain management, business administration or logistics. ERP systems experience, preferably NetSuite-Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure optimal staffing levels to meet business needs
• Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems to reduce shrink and waste
• Continuously improve warehouse processes and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports as needed
• Monitor warehouse equipment for maintenance needs and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, business or related field preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, customers, and vendors
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
