Account Manager Assistant Personal Lines

Brown & Brown is looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team in Doral, Florida!

To be responsible for placing personal lines accounts with insurance companies. Assist the Personal Lines Account Managers in the completion of the functions.
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Process various transactions within Personal Lines files as provided by management.
• To receive, review, enter in the system, and mail to client, new policies, renewals and endorsements as provided by management.
• To be responsible for obtaining and distributing Motor Vehicle Records for the agency.
• To be familiar with and knowledgeable in all Companies and Markets available within the Agency (Personal Lines).
• To perform the job function of Personal Lines Account Manager when alphabetical section of personal lines accounts is not being serviced due to illness, vacation, leave of absence, resignations, etc.
• To process renewal policies being changed from agency bill to direct bill.
• To be responsible for the daily transmission of work processed on personal lines computers.
• Be responsible for the distribution of E-Mail correspondence and reply to same.
• Understand the role of automation in our agency, and maximize utilization of its' capability for customer service, additional coverage sales and underwriting activities.
• To perform special projects upon management's request.
• To retrieve policies, cancellations, endorsements and any other information sent via alerts.
• To be responsible for the download process amount the department.

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:

• High School degree
• 440 License
• At least 2 years of insurance experience
• Completion and/or evidence of skills as outlined by Personal management
  Preferred
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred
