Team Lead Finance (Valencia)

As HelloPrint's Finance Team Lead it's your responsibility to drive the Finance department forward. Together with other team members you are continuously looking for process improvements to make HelloPrint futureproof and scalable. The company is currently moving from a scale up to a mature company and with this various optimizations in our processes need to be implemented. Furthermore you will work on new funding and other finance activities together with the CFO, ensure compliance on all levels and work on the FP&A cycle.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years relevant experience and a drive to grow in your role. Our Finance team consists of 3 departments divided over Rotterdam, Valencia and Manila. Where team Valencia and Manila mostly focus on the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process, our Rotterdam Finance is responsible for the overall control, strategic decision-making and carrying out improvement processes for the whole organization. Requirements

About you: For this role, you will directly report into the CFO and are managing 7 talented financials yourself that will look to you for guidance, in-depth knowledge, process optimisation and strategy.

Your role and responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day financial operations

• Leading and developing 7 FTE’s located in both Rotterdam, Valencia and Manila. This means that you will also occasionally travel to our office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands;

• Working on new funding and other related activities together with the CFO

• Managing the FP&A cycle, cross border transactions set-up, and transfer pricing policy

• Driving innovation and efficiency within and together with the team

• Ensuring and enabling smooth cooperation between the finance team and other teams within the company

• Overseeing the audit process and other compliance related activities in various countries together with the Financial Controller

• Managing cross-border expansion from a finance perspective

• Leading by example and being an ambassador of the company mission, vision and values

What we ask of you:

• Minimum of 5+ years of working experience, more is preferred

• Proven working experience in international accounting

• Excellent social skills (easy to talk to) to manage a highly motivated team with different cultural backgrounds, experience levels and personalities

• Proven experience in working in fast-paced growth environment whilst maintaining proactive and pragmatic approach

• A result-oriented and process-oriented work style;

• Proven experience with Dutch GAAP is a must, IFRS is a bonus

• Experience with Netsuite is a bonus

• Fluent English communicator, both oral and written, Dutch is a bonus
