Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Quality Engineering Supervisor responsible for leading, developing, and managing quality control activities to ensure consistent compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory framework.

Job Location:

Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!

What you will be doing:

  • Directly supervisor Quality Control laboratory operations, personnel, and workflows including monitoring KPIs related to quality performance, defect rates, and inspection effectiveness
  • Establish inspection, testing, and verification procedures for in-process and finished products
  • Ensure proper utilization, maintenance, and calibration of lab and inspection equipment
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer specifications, and regulatory standards
  • Lead Measurement System Analysis programs across manufacturing and inspection processes
  • Validate measurement systems for accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility
  • Train Engineering, quality, and production personnel on proper measurement techniques
  • Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control systems including developing and monitoring systems for critical process parameters
  • Own and manage the customer complaint and CAPA process ensuring timely and effective corrective and preventative actions
  • Support Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives 
  • Support customer audits, system assessments, and regulatory and compliance inspections 
  • Interface with customers on system-level quality topics 

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related technical discipline
  • 4-6 years’ experience in manufacturing environment in a quality role
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong background in SPC, MSA, and statistical quality tools
  • Experience with customer complaint handling and CAPA systems
  • Ability to multi-task is required


Pay Range: $85-95k annually
