Senior Associate - Strategy and Operations

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Strategy and Operations Senior Associate. In this role, you will lead multiple projects at Vial, including helping to set and execute firm level strategy. You will report directly to the VP of Operations, engage closely with the executive team and have significant autonomy in leading Strategy and Operations projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful execution of clinical trials.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and operational policies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Operations and/or Strategy and/or Analytics
• Experience in Consulting, Investment Banking + Startup S&O/BizOps roles preferred
• Problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in and expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets)
• Combine business context and analytics to take on a problem area and implement a customized solution
• Entrepreneurial mindset, experience in startup environment preferred a plus
• Deeply analytical, systems thinker, focused on finding scalable solutions
